Máíre O’ Mahony graduated in 2006 with an honours degree in painting from NCAD, Dublin. Her practice concerns the gap between art and everyday life, centred in the real time space of the domestic as a place for intervention and mark-making. It is predominantly process driven and has a multi-disciplinary approach which encompasses installation, video, painting and drawing. She has exhibited in many group shows in Ireland since graduating and is a member of the artists group Scissors|cuts|paper.
