Artist and writer Maureen Considine graduated from the Crawford College of Art in 2006 and she was one of 4 students who received the Art Trail selected artist award. In 2008 she received an academic M.A. in Modern and Contemporary Art from University College Cork.


In 2011, Considine was invited to write an essay Artistic Instinct and the Collective Unconscious for the Gravity exhibition catalogue at the Crawford Art Gallery and she exhibited new works in a group show ‘Raw-Nerved’ at Basement Project Space. Her works have been selected for numerous exhibitions and her practice is multi-disciplinary with an emphasis on lens based art.
